Day Surgeries and Day Procedure Centres in Victoria are required to have an Infection Control Management Plan [ICMP] that ensures the health and safety of patients, staff and visitors. STEAM Consulting can assist your Day Surgery or Day Procedure Centre to develop and implement an ICMP that meets the regulatory requirements.
Four basic Infection Control Consultancy Services packages are available to choose from:
Bronze Plan
Includes annual review and update of the ICMP, delivery of up to one hour’s infection control in-service education session and the annual AS4187 compliance audit conducted on the same day.
Silver Plan
Includes annual update of the ICMP, two separate site visits; one for delivery of up to one hour’s infection control in-service education session and the other for the annual AS4187 compliance audit and up to five epsiodes of infection control consultancy advice per annum.
Gold Plan
This includes annual update to the ICMP, two separate sites visits ; one for delivery of up to one hour’s infection control in-service education session and the other for the annual AS4187 compliance audit and unlimited epsiodes of infection control consultancy advice per annum.
Also includes annual review of existing infection control policies and procedures. For new clients this package includes the option to use of STEAM Consulting generic policies and procedures and where necessary, additional site visits to assist in implementation of the infection control program in the first year.
